 From the East

Welcome to September. I say that with a great deal of enthusiasm and anticipation. It’s like a new beginning. Schools are finally in session, fall activities begin, and Big Red Football is in full swing. At Shiloh we have plenty going on to begin September.

First, mark your calendar for September 4th. Besides our business meeting, we are having the Past Master’s Dinner. Honoring our Past Masters is a great way to start the season. The remainder of our September, Wednesday meeting dates will be filled with Degree work for two of our new candidates.

For October’s business meeting we will be honored by a visit from our Grand Master, Most Worshipful Michael E. Jones. Let’s give our Grand Master a warm Shiloh welcome with a good turn out of Brothers.

Two other events scheduled for October are the Grand Master’s Breakfast at the Omaha Home for Boys, Friday the 18th, and Ladies at the Table set for Wednesday, the 30th. Two great events you won’t want to miss! Watch for further details.

I hope you share my enthusiasm for the events planned in September and October and I look forward to greeting you at Shiloh as we start this new season.
