Shiloh Lodge #327
October 2000 Trestleboard
From the East
Greetings from the East once again. The annual Shiloh Family Picnic was a great success. There were over 30 people there and as always the food was great. It was nice to see all the kids there to enjoy the new playground equipment.
Grand Lodge will again be having Fall Area Meetings.
I hope everyone can attend when they are announced.
This month we will be finishing degree work and I think we have another candidate in the waiting. I hope everyone's activities are slowing down now. Last month we were a little short on brothers during degree work. I will try and keep everyone posted on the dates for degree work. We all know it really makes a good impression when the lodge is full of brothers for a degree. Fraternally yours,
Rick Benson
Worshipful Master - 2000
Did You Forget? 2000 Dues are now considered DELIQUENT
Please send them in if you are one of the few brothers that have not paid for 2000. We don't want to loose you!
OHB Maintenance
Each Fall members of Shiloh Lodge volunteer to help raise funds for The Omaha Home for Boys. The members make up Team V of the Home's Maintenance Campaign. This year our Brothers on Team V have a special challenge in honor of the Home's 80th anniversary -- $12,000. They have already raised more than a third of the goal!
If you would like to help Team V reach their goal for The Omaha Home for Boys, please contact Brother Tom Malone (293-5573) or Brother John Beaver (894-2732).

We would like to provide support to our brethren in times of distress and celebrate with them in times of gladness. Please immediately inform any of your lodge officers of such information regarding yourself or a brother.
